I used rosebud patterned vellum, edged bottom with flat lace,
closure is rosebuds with gold stretch cording that is easily removed
and replaced to access inside. Finished size is 5 1/2" square.
This is SO pretty in real life. The camera flash wasn't working
so the pic isn't as nice as the real thing.
Thanks to Lisa B. for letting me case her cute card idea!
This version uses Groovy Guava cardstock & stitched ribbon,
Ginger Blossoms paper, Apricot Appeal and Whisper White c.s.,
Three For You, Scallop and 1 3/8" punches for flowers window,
and can't forget the Dazzling Diamonds!

Love this new stamp, especially since I am thousands
of miles from my sisters, thought it would definitely get
a lot of use! I used the A Muse mini cardstock panels
(I am sure they have a name that I don't know), card
candy stones and Copics for coloring.
I embossed the red flowers with clear embossing powder
and added the red bead duos to centers and filled in with
Dazzling Diamonds glitter. This is so pretty, sparkly and
shiny in real life, the photo doesn't do it justice. I also used
Petals wheel for background, Bashful Blue and Real Red.

Very interesting color combination which turned out to
look really nice together. I thought Basic Gray, Going
Gray and Yo Yo Yellow would be pretty awful, but it just
ain't so! This can be found over at SCS today if you want to play.
I stamped the background of the lighter gray panel with the small
flower from Fabulous Flowers and the Rough Texture jumbo wheel.
Stamped a large yellow bloom on the white panel, cut out another
one and popped it up on top of the first bloom with dimensionals.
Added some bling and organdy ribbon.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the Always set was how much it reminded
me of the lovely art from the Pennsylvania Dutch country.
I love the classic blue and white pattern found in many of the hex signs.
I used Whisper White and Brilliant Blue and a Build A Brad for the center.
We were just out playing in the snow, so to warm up
I decided to make a Spring card. I love this new chick
Easter set from SU. It comes with an egg shaped stamp
and you can decorate it with various stamps that are included. Very cute!
For a quick and easy one layer card.
The first one uses the Doodle jumbo wheel in Mellow Moss,
colored in the Soft Subtles markers of Pink, Apricot, Celery & Blue.
Punched front using the Word Window punch, finished in Moss taffeta ribbon.
The second uses Baroque Motifs and took a total of 7 minutes.
Can't beat that when you're in a rush :)

This is what I did for the first Crafty Secrets
sketch challenge over at SCS. Paper and
stamps are C.S. Ribbon is SU, hearts unknown.
I used the paper from The Luxury stack (Joann's),
the new Elzybells image and A Muse card candy,
Boho Blossoms and photo corners punches, and
retired silver SU ribbon. For today's Featured Stamper
challenge on SCS.
January 26
I love this stamp!!
I picked up the little flower theme from
the stamp and framed the image with the new
Boho Blossoms punch.
Here are two using the color combination of Rose Red,
Pretty In Pink, and Close To Cocoa. I threw in some of
the Berry Bliss paper also.
I used my Stampin' Up Trees Three stamp to extend the branch
of the new Elzybells girl on a swing stamp. I love the new sentiment
from the upcoming SU Friendhip Blooms set and it seemed perfect
for this sweet image.
January 25
This is a new Elzybells stamp, one of a few I got today.
This one is called Letter Writing but I added some hand
drawn stamps and colored markers to make her a stamper.
Notecard and sentiment by A Muse.
January 24
I was very pleasantly surprised at how soft this ribbon was
and how smoothly it tied. Very highly recommended for Spring
and Summer cards in this lovely shade. Love it.
This card is for a demo swap, was going for something very
Springy and light with the new Friendship Blooms set.
January 23
The inside printed to read:
Get out the flim flam floobers
And go shake your boobers
Fifty is nifty
How 'bout a face lifty?
Page is from Dr. Seuss ABC book, image and
cardstock by Stampin' Up.

I had to try out these really pretty beads that are new to the
catalog. I laid down a line of Sticky Strip tape to adhere and
then poured on and smooshed the large beads. After this
step you can pour on the matching microbeads to fill in the spaces.
Lots of possibilities for these beads with Valentine's Day coming up.
They come in pink with clear micros, blue, green, orange, and silver also.
The color combination is from today's challenge on SCS.

I love quite a lot of the A Muse stamps. They make super quick and adorable
For this one I used my Creative Memories cutting system to make
the circles, stamped and clear embossed a pattern on the front to
make it look shiny like a record album. The paper is by Marah Johnson,
rocker and sentiment by A Muse, flower and pearls are from the fabulous
Pretties Kit by Stampin' Up. (Yes, you need it!)
I used the new SAB set Friendship Blooms for the sentiment,
stamped Always heart in Rose Red, colored in Blush.
The paper is by My Mind's Eye, Impress, and SU. Sketch
from Cococat's site.
January 17
I used the new Friendship Blooms set and the
Love & Happiness rub-ons. They are SO cool,
I am going to stockpile as many as I can. There are
4 sheets, one each of black, white, olive, and chocolate.
Yum.
