August 31 Nature SilhouettesNature Silhouettes HalloweenIt was fun transforming the Nature Silhouettes tree image into a
Halloween scene. The characters are slightly big for the image but
I think this is what makes it fun. I used the tree from Nature Silhouette
with the characters from Batty For You. Ghostly Greetings paper along
with Lavender Lace and Perfect Plum. Image was on Glossy White and
colored with markers and sponging for sky.
August 29 Heaven & NatureThis is for today's Inspiration challenge. I chose room #217 King's Forest found here:
http://www.hotelfox.dk/ I used the retired SU Heaven & Nature angel colored in Copic markers, Dazzling Diamonds to halo and wings. Background is Little Pieces, Snowflake Spot in Blush on Cameo Coral with
Basic Grey Flourished Edges (from Jacksonbelle's store) stamped in Riding Hood Red.
August 28 Parisian Summer paperThe Parisian Summer designer paper is all so beautiful, this is one where I
loved all of the designs in the pack. I got a little carried away with the punched flowers...
I used Prismacolor pencils to color image, Parisian Summer paper with Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, and Whisper White, Pink Bead Duos, and pink gingham ribbon, Three For You punch.
August 27 Upsy Daisy using Top Note dieStampin' Up HAUNTING jumbo wheelLove these Halloween characters sneaking through the night, they crack me up.
I brayered the Autumn Leaves spectrum pad on glossy cardstock, embossed
Haunting wheel over top in black. Ghostly Greetings designer paper, black
grosgrain ribbon, linen thread, and Naturals buttons.
The second picture is the image in black ink on Whisper White colored in markers.
Green Galore and Orchid Opulence with Sprinkles set in background.
August 25 Glitter Window DressingBaroque Motifs Holiday TreasuresFaux embossing gives this a nice feeling of depth to the image. I stamped
the Baroque Motifs swirl in Whisper White craft ink onto the Riding Hood Red
cardstock and then lined it up with the Stamp-a-majig and stamped it again in
Riding Hood Red ink. Holiday Treasures designer paper was cut out with detail
scissors for corner image.
August 24 Old Fashioned ChristmasAugust 23 A Rose Is A RoseI chose this umbrella from today's Inspiration Challenge:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d=121945934 7 I used my new A Rose Is A Rose set in Cool Caribbean and Tempting Turquoise with Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. Wheeled Fine Foliage jumbo wheel in Chocolate Chip
and used Tempting Turquoise grograin ribbon and Ice rhinestone brads.
Hope you like it! August 22 Bella Rose Dreams du Jour BookmarkAugust 21 Hanuting wheel by Stampin' UpUpsy DaisyI lost my marbles!
Most of the time spent on this card was searching my son's playroom for some
marbles to use on this technique. For the rolling I used Baja Breeze and Pacific
Point re-inkers and then brayered it in Bashful Blue. Image was embossed in black.
Sanded b.g. on Bashful Blue, backed on Pacific Point. New scallop edge punch used
for border and Pretties Kit pearls down the side. Punches for sentiment were large
oval and 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle.
August 20 Eastern InfluencesThe new Kiwi Kiss ribbon is a must have on your next order. It is so
smooth and luscious and ties beautifully.
This was for a friendly dare by Joan Ervin to create a one layer card. That
can be a lot harder than it sounds. I used Whisper White for the base and
black StazOn ink so I could use markers without having runs and "schmears".
Pretty In Pink, Cocoa, Celery, Olive SU markers, Chinese character and bottom
border from All Scallops were clear embossed.
