    Rustic Cardinal

Well, I am certainly getting my money's worth from this stamp set.
For two different challenges going on today, one on SCS to use the colors
Rust, Chocolate, and Baja Breeze. The other our Doubledog Dare Challenge
this week hosted by Beverly (beestamper) to use a twig (mine is a real one!) on a masculine card.
Cloud 9 designer paper, photo corner punch, and vintage brads were used.
Colored cardinal with Tangerine Tango re-inker. Background rust color was stamped with
Snow Flurries flake in rust and Itty Bitty background randomly stamped in craft white. Shaded edges with rust.

    Eat, Drink, & Be Scary

New for Halloween from Stampin' Up, this is an adorable
set of 5 stamps including the witch hat, pumpkin, dangling spider,
and two fun sentiment stamps. One of these is for use with the tag punch.
For this card I used the Ghostly Greetings paper in the main catalog with
Basic Black and Whisper White. I stamped the pumpkin only in orange marker,
stamped spider next to this on both sides for hair and linen thread for bangs.
I had to cut the hat a little bit smaller to fit the pumpkin head.

    Nature Silhouettes meets Winter Post

I just happened to have both of these sets on my desk and thought
they would go beautifully together if I masked off the smaller deers antlers.

Faux Wood technique on Window Dressing

To create an awning for the window I used the scallop punch, outlined in black marker and then filled in red stripes.
Cut out window and a handmade window box which was colored in Copic marker E13 and swiped with Creamy Caramel ink.
Popped up awning and windowbox on glue dots. For the wood siding look I used Naturals White and dragged Going Gray, Soft Sky
and Craft white down the front of the cardstock. Attached to Not Quite Navy card base. Organdy ribbon and gray brads for embellishing.
